Finding your api key

Your api key is used when you go on tumblr and your browser sends requests to see posts. The indexing process replicates these requests as if you were scrolling through all of the posts on your blog.

Here's how to find your key:

1. go to tumblr.com/your-blog-name
2. open dev tools (ctrl+shift+i or f12 on Chrome)
3. open Network
4. In the list of requests, look for one that starts with "posts" e.g. "posts?fields%5Bblogs%5D=%3Fadvertiser_name..." etc
5. Click on that
6. Open Headers
7. Scroll down to Request Headers (ignore Response Headers)
8. Look for Authorization
9. The string of text after the word "Bearer" is the api key
10. Copy and paste the api key without spaces into the api key field above
